Productronica 2011

Productronica 2011 was a big success. No signs of recession at the DIMA booth. DIMA celebrated the 25th anniversary on Productronica 2011. It was not only the birthday party that filled the booth but especially the many visitor coming to see the new innovations that DIMA was presenting during the show.  The New DR series Dispensing and Conformal coating robots and the Patented dynamic flow control on the underfill machines where on top of the visitors wish list. For each visitor DIMA had a little present to celebrate the 25 years of serving the industry.

Visit of the Queens commisionner to DIMA Group
On Wednesday March 16th the Royal Commissioner of the province Noord Brabant, mr. Wim van de Donk and the mayor of Deurne, Hilco Mak together with a delegation of 16 people visited DIMA Group on occasion of the acquaintance of Deurne. The Royal Commissioner has chosen to visit DIMA because of its recent product innovations and its international character. He was very interested to learn from DIMA what is needed for other local companies to become a major player in its own field of experience. We need more companies like DIMA that can become an international respected company by innovations and creativity.
Where high-tech industry is booming other sectors still suffer from an economic crisis. The Royal Commissioner was of opinion that it is very important for regional municipalities to work together. "These are difficult times in which choices have to be made for the future. These can be painful in times of economic crisis."
After a presentation of DIMA Group and her leading role in the conformal coating and mid-size pick and place industry the discussion went on. A pled was made not to bring too much govern funds to the big high-tech multinationals but instead of that to spend the money on education of technical students so that we will not be without a workforce in the near future. Mr. van de Donk shared this opinion and explained that he was trying to decentralize the funding for education because in our province we need students to be educated for other professions than nearby cities like Amsterdam.
A company tour with the VIPs ending in the DIMA Dispense Technology application laboratory gave a good impression about how far DIMA as a high-tech company has come since 1986. DIMA Group celebrates its 25th anniversary this year operating in the centre of Brainport, the high-tech region of Western Europe. A concentration of high-tech industry and research institutes, helping DIMA Group to stay ahead of the competition.

Jubilee year 2011; 25 years DIMA Group

With a brand new start in the year 2011, DIMA Group in the Netherlands has reached it’s 25th anniversary. A huge accomplishment, a milestone!

Mr. Ad van Dinter and his wife Mrs. Jacky van Dinter, both still very active members of the DIMA-‘family’, started DIMA (DInter MAchines) 25 years ago.

The company was founded in 1986 developing tools and machines for the electronic industry, starting with tools for surface mount technology. In 1989 DIMA showed her first dispense robot that soon would be followed by a range of pick and place machines and reflow ovens. During the years an average of 30% of DIMA personnel devoted itself to developing new technology in order to always stay one step ahead of the competition.

Official opening of DIMA Group Asia Pte Ltd

Increased demand of DIMA products in the Asian market result in an extra branch office. Service and support for the customers when they need it where they need it is an important value in DIMA’s customer approach. The growing demand for local support in developing a production process, performing trials and offering first line service for DIMA products to our international oriented customer base made us decide to take this step.

International Conformal Coating Workshops at Deurne, the Netherlands, November 16-18 2010

The Netherlands based DIMA Group hosted the inaugural ICCW (International Conformal Coating Workshop) at their Deurne facility, located in the outskirts of Eindhoven in the Netherlands.
