DIMA distributor Proes proudly announces the first successful installation of a Hybrid selective conformal coating machine DIMA HC-200 in Slovenia. With the introduction of one of the most advanced coating systems the company Strip's successfully up-grades its manufacturing process.
Besides their own production Strip's operates as a sub-contractor to the electronics industry. Highest quality, flexibility, technical sophistication of DIMA machines and Proes support when introducing machine into the manufacturing process was the key reason, that Strip's chose Dima as a long term partner.
Strip's more than a year time searched and checked highly adaptable machines for selective conformal coating. In addition to their own brand Lumenia offering technology LED lighting bodies in Strip's are confronted with a broad range of electronic circuits to be protected. They must also meet the high requirements for materials to be used in the protection. Therefore, they have seen the number of machines during the regular operation of the production.
Finally Strip's have decided to DIMA HC-200, because of its unique features. "The head of the machine which can be stretched to 4 different instruments to support the movement of five axes - X, Y, Z, rotation and tilt, allowing the extreme flexibility. Different materials can be applied in 4 different ways. Shorter process time and greater accuracy is achieved with the application site offline programming, which can be done separately, independently of the machine. This does not disturb the process. An additional advantage is repeatability, which ensure that all circuits are coated with the same amount and coating thickness", stressed Uroš Ocepek, Head of technology from Strip's after successful installation.
As a DIMA partner Proes believes that a strong commitment to the needs of the customer will evaluate into success. It is the Proes mission to share DIMA knowledge and experience, especially after the installation of the machinery, to provide excellent customer support and in addition to participate in the development of the buyer's process.
